The Presbyterian Historical Society is thrilled to welcome a new staff member this month! 

Ky Evans is joining the Technical Services team at PHS as an Archives Technician. 

Ky graduated from Haverford College this past Spring with a B.A. in Linguistics and East Asian Languages and Cultures. Their main interests are the Chinese language and how written records influence the evolution of spoken language. They hope to pursue a PhD in linguistics at some point in the future.

Elaine Shilstut will be joining the PHS staff as our Cataloging and Metadata Librarian.

Elaine comes to PHS from the University of Pennyslvania Libraries, where she worked as a Library Specialist in the Cataloging Department. In this position, she performed original and complex copy cataloging including authority work for various formats. Archives Technician Amalia Cottrell is a recent graduate of Bryn Mawr College, where she earned a B.A. in History as well as a B.A. in Mathematics.
