New Development Associate

August 15, 2018

PHS is pleased to welcome Clorinda Moore as our new Development Associate. She started work on Monday.

Kim Shiley, PHS Director of Development, noted Clorinda's development background in an email to PHS staff announcing her hiring.

"Clorinda comes to PHS from her most recent position at the Athenaeum of Philadelphia, where she worked as Membership Coordinator," Kim wrote. "Her other development-related positions include the Mt. Cuba Center, PA Horticultural Society, and Winterthur. Clorinda has a bachelor’s degree from Rider University, a certificate in Historic Preservation from Drew University, and a certificate in the Principles of Fundraising from Villanova. I am excited to have her join the PHS development team.”

Clorinda will work alongside Kim and Kristen Gaydos, Development and Communications Assistant, to "plan and implement PHS’s annual fundraising plan with a primary focus on growing annual support through appeals, events, and increased individual and congregational engagement and stewardship." Kim added that Clorinda will "manage PHS’s donor database, including gift processing and acknowledgement, research, analysis, reporting, data integrity, and security."

Clorinda is already enjoying being at PHS. She said, "As a lover of history, it’s a thrill to find myself at a repository of 500 years of Presbyterian history. I’m looking forward to working hard to serve all of PHS’s donors."
