CALVIN
Calvin is the society's electronic catalog. It currently contains descriptions of over 75,000 books, periodicals, and archival collections housed at the society.
Included are bibliographic records for most of the following types of material:
- Publications cataloged by the society since 1980
- Congregation records
- Published presbytery and synod minutes cataloged since 1980
- Processed collections of archival records and personal papers (with links to the guides to these collections)
- Microfilm and some other audio-visual materials
Calvin does NOT describe most materials cataloged by the society before 1980; nor does it include descriptions of unprocessed archival collections. Onsite you should consult the card catalog or a reference archivist if you do not find what you are looking for in the electronic catalog.
Select microfilm is available for Interlibrary Loan.
Calvin includes records for materials in foreign languages. You do not need to enter diacritics in your search terms.
