The Presbyterian Historical Society (PHS) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, governed by a Board of Directors. As the national archives of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and its primary historical research center, our mission is to collect, preserve, and share the story of the American Presbyterian experience with Presbyterians, the scholarly community, and the general public.
