Congo Love Song examines black Americans’ long cultural and political engagement with the Congo. At PHS, Ira Dworkin will discuss ways African Americans shaped anticolonialism, black aesthetics, and modern black nationalism--and how collection materials at archival institutions affiliated with Historically Black Colleges and Universities supported his research.
