Join us for a talk with Crystal R. Sanders, Associate Professor of History and Director of the Africana Research Center at Penn State University. Drawing from her book, A Chance for Change: Head Start and Mississippi’s Black Freedom Struggle, Dr. Sanders will discuss Civil Rights, Head Start, and the Presbyterian Church in 1960s Mississippi.
