Traveling Displays

The Presbyterian Historical Society offers several traveling displays for use at special events held by all levels of the church. These displays are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The society pays shipping costs via UPS to event destinations, and the recipient is responsible for arrangements and costs of return UPS shipping to the society or to the next event. Each display is approximately 2 feet high, 2 feet deep, and up to 4 feet in width. We suggest using either half of a 6 foot table or a square table that allows room to lay out the variety of accompanying brochures and other materials.

  • The Programs and Services display describes how the society assists local congregations, presbyteries, and synods in preserving and celebrating their heritage.
  • The China Mission display highlights the work of Presbyterian missionaries in China from 1837 to 1951.
  • The Emancipation to Enterprise display highlights Presbyterian efforts in providing schools and colleges serving African-Americans from 1867 to 1963.
  • The Korea Mission display illustrates the Presbyterian Church's mission work in Korea from 1883 to 1934.
  • The Women in Presbyterian Mission Work display highlights the educational, medical, and outreach efforts of Presbyterian women involved in home and foreign mission work.
